Malvene Arvay Obituary

Malvene Marie Lippert Arvay, 74, of Lower Burrell, died Sunday, June 27, 2021, in her home. She was born in Natrona Heights Sept. 7, 1946, to the late William J. and Frances E. Huston Geiser and was a life resident of the Valley. A graduate of Robert Morris University, where she received her bachelor's degree, she worked for 45 years at several local law firms and also for the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church. Malvene was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Tarentum. She enjoyed cooking, baking, Friday night dinners with her family and sitting on the porch with neighbors. She is survived by her sons, Rick (Jeannie ) Lippert and Chad (Jodi) Lippert, both of Lower Burrell; stepdaughters, Cheryl Arvay, of Natrona Heights, and Antoinette (Jeff) Lipniskis, of Sarver; grandchildren, Brady, Austin, Mackenzie and Taylor Lippert, Sarah Lipniskis, Jake and Matt Arvay; and brother, James (Patricia) Geiser, of Tarentum. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Arvay and brother, Ronald Geiser. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until funeral services at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder Street, Lower Burrell. I attended Robert Morris with Malvenr. We exchanged Christmas cards every year. My deepest sympathies to the family. She was a sweetheart!
