Margaret Zozula Obituary

Margaret "Peg" L. (Klingensmith) Zozula, 94, of Cabot, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Concordia in Cabot. A daughter of the late Theodore Klingensmith and Violet (Mulligan) Klingensmith, she was born on Sept. 4, 1930. Peg was employed as a telephone operator for many years in Vandergrift. She enjoyed animals, especially her dogs, and had a special fondness for Boston Terriers and Shih Tzus. She was a member of the Leechburg Monday Evening Club and volunteered delivering for the Vandergrift Meals on Wheels. She was an excellent candy maker and was proud of her extensive angel collection. She was known for hosting the best New Year's Eve parties for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Zozula, on Sept. 2, 1996, and all of her siblings, Keith Klingensmith, Richard Klingensmith, Clara Wolfe, and Grace Carpen. Friends and family are welcome to attend funeral ceremonies at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 104 Melwood Road, Lower Burrell, with Rev. James V. Arter III officiating. Entombment will follow. THE CLAWSON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CENTER, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, has been entrusted with arrangements.
