Mary Allshouse Obituary

Mary Ann Allshouse, 84, of Marienville, passed away peacefully on Aug. 3, 2025, in Marienville. She was born on Jan. 29, 1941, in Wilmerding, to the late Andrew and Jean (McDowell) Harcharik. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Johnston Sr., in 1978; and her brother, David "Buzz" Harcharik. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Michael Allshouse; her children, Paul (Beth) Johnston Jr., Carl Johnston, Darrin (Debbie) Johnston, and Clark (Bridget) Johnston; grandchildren, Cheyanne (Adam) Graham, Jessica (Jonathan) Proctor, Cory (Taylor) Johnston, Lindsay (Sean) Rause, and Colin Johnston; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Declan, Riggs, and Lincoln; her brother, James (Kelly) Gibson; and many nieces and nephews. Mary Ann dedicated many years as a cantor at Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, and was also a certified aerobics instructor. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, PA 15642. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
