Mary E. Sadowski

1961 - 2024

Mary E. (Vonderkall) Sadowski, 63, of Creighton, passed away June 12, 2024, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born on May 4, 1961, in Cleveland, OH, and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Elizabeth Mary (Debarr) Vonderkall. After graduating from Armstrong High School and Lenape Vocational Technical School, Mary worked as a nursing assistant at Armstrong Hospital. Mary was a member of the former Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Creighton. She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved spending time with her granddaughter and family. Survivors include her daughter, Christine E. (Jason) Danko of Kennerdall; her granddaughter, Magdalyn Ann Danko; five siblings, Paula (Thomas) Kornasiewicz of Woodbridge, CT, James (Temple) Vonderkall of Ford City, Christopher Vonderkall of Ford City, Craig Vonderkall of Ford City, and Melissa (Christopher Klukan) Vonderkall of Ford City; nieces and nephews, Sophia Klukan, Christopher Klukan, Adrie Ditchik, Tamsin Ditchik, Jasper Ditchik, Bobby Miller, and Kolton Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Leonard F. Sadowski who passed away on Jan. 22, 2016; and an infant sister, Alicia Vonderkall.
