Maryjane Johnson Obituary

Maryjane Elizabeth "Mary" Johnson, 72, of Grapeville, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025. She was born Aug. 15, 1953, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Keith Clark and Elvera Rabino Clark. She was Catholic by faith and attended St. Barbara Roman Catholic Church, Harrison City. Mary loved being around her kids, grandkids, and her cats. She enjoyed photography and taking pictures and admired religious artifacts and statues. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, George Allen Johnson; and also her brother, Daniel Clark. Mary is survived by her daughters, Julia M. Allison (Dave) and Antonette M. Palmer (Brian Wooley); her grandchildren, Christopher Marto (Daniel), Kay Newhouse (Christen), Nicholas Marto (Taylor), Morgan Wooley, and Jason Wooley; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; her beloved cats, Sheldon and Shadow; and also, her lifelong friends, Richard Swiencki and Lisa Mae (Scott). Honoring Mary's wishes, there will be no public services. For those that desire, memorial donations may be made to one's favorite cat sanctuary in memory of Mary.
