Born Oct. 17, 1963, in Johnstown, he also lived in Weirton, W.Va., and Centerville, Ohio, before moving to Indiana. He graduated from Bishop McCort High School, Johnstown, and from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. At the time of his death, he was vice president of Aramark Uniform Service in Indianapolis. Formerly, he was the general manager of UniFirst Corporation in New Kensington. Mr. Omodio was a member and past president of Ohio Association of Textile Services, and board of directors member of the New Kensington Area Chamber of Commerce. An avid sports fan, he coached Centerville High School hockey and was "color commentator" for the Dayton Bombers of the Eastern Coast Hockey League. He enjoyed making people laugh, inspiring and mentoring others, and fostering loyalty. Survivors include wife, Jodi Vanyo Omodio; two daughters, Amy and Megan Larch, both at home; his parents, Peter and Lena Fonzi Omodio of Johnstown; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Ann (John) Evanchick of Youngstown, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Friends are being received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the FRANK DUCA FUNERAL HOME, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Boulevard, Johnstown. A celebration of Perry's life will be held at a Christian Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Johnstown. Burial will be in Grandview Mausoleum, Johnstown.
