Ralph Waner Obituary

Ralph J. Waner, of Natrona Heights, passed away on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025. He was born Oct. 28, 1951, in New Kensington to the late Ralph S. and Jayne (Winkler) Waner. Ralph was a 1969 graduate of Highland High School and a 1974 graduate of Penn State University. He worked for many years at Allegheny Ludlum as a pipe fitter. Ralph enjoyed riding motorcycles, making bike runs with the Tarentum Eagles Aerie 699, where he was a member for many years. Harleys were his favorite, and on one Harley run in Pittsburgh, he met Malcom Forbes. Ralph is survived by his son, Lukas P. Waner; brother, Greg (Donna) Waner; some nieces and nephews; and his companion for the last several years, Phyllis Danato. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Mehal) Waner. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the blessing service at noon Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, at CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688.
