Robert B. Henderson

1977 - 2021

Robert Brian Henderson, 44, went to join his mother in heaven Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, unexpectedly at Allegheny General Hospital. Born April 5, 1977, he was the son of Robert Louis Henderson and the late Yvonne (Buchanich) Henderson. Bob was known for his heart of gold. He was the kindest, most generous man, volunteering whenever and wherever there was a need. He was a man of faith, active in the local church as usher, helping with Operation Christmas Child, the food bank and much more. Bob was a 1995 graduate of Freeport High School. He worked as a laborer all of his career but his most recent job, as a child care worker at the YMCA, he found the most rewarding and enjoyable. His love for kids was obvious to all. Mr. Bob was clearly the favorite Summer Camp Counselor! He always put the feelings of others before himself and is a great role model for all to follow. In his free time, Bob liked watching wrestling with his family, reading and looking for ways to be a blessing. He touched the lives of everyone who came in contact with him. He is survived by his father, (Robert Louis Henderson); sister, (Lori Henderson Cutright); and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, Community Life Church1104 Pittsburgh Pike Road Butler, PA 16001. Friends and family are invited to attend.
