Robert F. Schultz Sr.

1935 - 2025

Robert "Bob" F. Schultz Sr., 90, formerly of Lower Burrell, passed away at home on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025. Born May 18, 1935, in New Kensington, he was the son of the late Walter E. Schultz Sr. and Zula M. (Rupert) Schultz. Bob was a graduate of Arnold High School and worked as a test technician for Westinghouse Cheswick his entire life and was a member of Trinity United Christian Church. Bob enjoyed camping and was a member of the FCRV camping organization. He also liked woodworking and was known as Mister Fix-It. Bob is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna Bateman; son, Robert F. (Tammy) Schultz Jr. of Curwensville; daughter, Linda Schultz of Murrysville; grandson, Matthew Schultz of Lower Burrell; and brother-in-law, George (Tink) Schneider, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by brothers, Walter F. Schultz Jr. and Fred R. Schultz; and sisters, Martha L. Boyer, Margie F. Moore, Betty D. Schmidt, Geraldine E. Spiering, and Carol J. Schneider. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of UPMC Family Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided. There will be a memorial service at noon Friday, Oct. 17, 2025 at Trinity United Christian Church, 232 Hillcrest Drive, Lower Burrell, officiated by Cletus Hull. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the noon service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Trinity United Christian Church in his memory.
