Theresa (Greco) Consolaro, 93, of Natrona Heights, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at West Penn Hospital Hospice, surrounded by her family caretakers. She was born Feb. 1, 1923, in Tarentum, daughter of the late Joe and Julia (Marino) Greco. Theresa previously lived and Culmerville and the past 30 years, Natrona Heights, where she was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church. She graduated from Tarentum High School and enjoyed meeting her high school girlfriends once a month. Theresa loved family get-togethers, cooking, old movies, reading, big band music and traveling. Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Mary Ann Marchi, of Tarentum, Robert M. (Mary Ellen) Marchi and Joseph L. (Karen) Marchi, both of Natrona Heights, sister-in-law, Elsie Tarabick, of Natrona Heights; nephews, Douglas (Mary Kay) Wisnesky and Louis Tarabick; nieces, Lucille (Edward) Braun, Johanna Kuhn and Cindy (Dan) Iman; and numerous, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Consolaro, in 2005, and a sister, Lucy Greco Marchi, in 2002.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 347 E. Tenth Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
