Tim R. Rupert

1938 - 2025

Tim Rod Rupert, 86, a lifelong resident of Clairton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, at William Penn Care Center in Jeannette. He was born in McKeesport Hospital on Oct. 18, 1938, to the late Edward W. and Lois J. Baxendell Rupert. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Diane Tatar; and his brothers, Richard and Danny. Tim was the owner of Rupert's (Bucks) Pizza and Bar. He will be remembered for his fish sandwiches and pizza in a brown bag. He was a lover of all sports, and he sponsored several sports teams in town. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and walking in the woods with his beloved Scrubbie. He was a member of the Free Masons, Stephen Bayard Lodge in Elizabeth, and dressed up as Santa for his customers for many years. He is survived by his daughter, Renee (Malcolm) Shuster of Jeanette; grandchildren, Megan (Sean) Jones of Locust Grove, VA, and Natalie Hredzak of Delmont; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Mason, Alayna, and Lillian; brother, Edward Rupert of Florida; and sister, Vickie (Robert) Braglio of Philadelphia. Family and friends will be received from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N.
