Vickie Davis Obituary

Vickie Lynn Davis, 48, of Medina, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, in her residence.

Born March 14, 1957, in Kittanning, she lived in Medina for the past 17 years.

Mrs. Davis was a loving wife and mother who was an active member of Northside Christian Church where she also was involved with the drama ministry and organized women's activities.

Survivors include her husband, whom she was married to for 26 years, Greg Davis; three sons, Graig (Libbi) Davis of Akron, Ohio, and Mathew Davis and Christopher Davis, both of Medina; her father, Frank Thornhill of Shippenville; two brothers, Frank Richard (Cathy) Thornhill of Coal Center, and David (Gwen) Thornhill of Export; two nephews, Rusty and Brian Thornhill; and a niece, Amber Thornhill.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Thornhill.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday in the WAITE AND SON FUNERAL HOME, MEDINA CHAPEL, 765 N. Court St. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in Northside Christian Church, 7615 Ridge Road, Wadsworth, with Pastor Robin Hart officiating. Burial will be in Freeport Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to Northside Christian Church Building Fund.
