Beverley Wimbles Obituary

Beverley Wimbles Our beloved Bev passed away at home, Thursday, October 27, 2005 surrounded by her loving family. She succumbed to conditions related to the cancer she had fought valiantly for 10 years. Born on June 27, 1934, in Chehalis, Washington, to Bill and Joy Walin, the family moved to Tacoma and finally made their way to their home in Spanaway, where they have resided for over 61 years. Beverley is survived by her husband Bill of 52 years; daughter Connie Ingle (Jimmy), sons Bill Wimbles (Kate), and Rob Wimbles (Debbie); grandchildren Donovan (Amanda), Shane, Cole, Caprice, Courtney Wimbles, Jimmy Ingle; great-granddaughter Callie Wimbles; sister Joyce Walsh (Bill), and adopted son Charlie Baker, and numerous nieces and nephews. Nieces Casey Scott (Tony) and Debbie Mead (Mark) and daughter Connie Ingle gave attentive comfort and care to her in her final days and hours. Beverley's family meant everything to her and she showed it with her constant concern and caring actions. She was very proud of her grandson, Shane Wimbles, US Marine Corps serving in Iraq at this time. She had a large extended family that grew constantly, she was "ma" and "grandma" to everyone that needed her. "Garage saleing" was a passion, finding treasures to pass on to her family. She was a gifted artist, never keeping any for her own home. "There is an immense hole in our lives and she will be greatly missed." No services will be held and cremation will be at Dryer Mortuary per her request. A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date.

Although it's been some time since I saw Bev, I can remember, like yesterday, all the fun times we had heading out in the Broncos. Bev was an awesome person always with a smile for everyone. She will be missed.

Bev, I had you for 64 years and I really find a big hole in my heart and life. I never told you often enough that I loved you, and now I'm really going to miss you; you were more than a sister, my dearest friend. Now I won't have anyone to ride with me when I need company anymore. We are all being selfish if we wished you back, but now you are free of all pain, that is a joy in itself. I realized it was time for you to go and I know that mom & daddy were waiting for you at the end of your journey as they will be for all of us; now you can help them keep an eye on all of the family (we're pretty big now!).

We are all going to miss you for a long time, but never forgotten.

Loveya! Joyce, Bill & Rick

Dear Ma,

I know that you have been in alot of pain the last few years, but you were always there for your family and friends. Now that your pain is gone, you will have more time to watch over all of us. I bet you will also find a big garage sale to attend and a beautiful picture to paint every day. Ma, Your family and friends will miss you always.

To your loving family I give my sympathies. Will Love and miss you always, The Richardson's

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of Bev's family and her vast friends. She has left her touch on each one of us and will be greatly missed. Bev really got involved in the oil painting classes she took with my Mom years ago, and became a wonderfully skilled artist. Her oils will be an enduring legacy for future generations within the family and circle of friends. I know Bev and Mom are up there painting the sunrise and sunsets with their own magic for us to enjoy.
