Daily I pray for you the family, as well as myself, that the many memories, especially the laughter that only Brian could deliver in his most unique way, lessen the deep rooted pain that our hearts are feeling. Because when someone close to us, that we loved so dearly, is taken from us suddenly, the pain sometimes seems more than we can bear. And yet, with time our memories grow more precious and we finally come to realize that those we've loved, especially someone like Brian, live on forever within our hearts. Having known Brian for nearly 18 yrs., he was certainly a "ray of sunshine" in my life, especially during some of the darker periods. I will forever miss my dear friend, who later became my fiancee'. Brian, my love, I love and miss you deeply.

Brian, on this earth you were a super man. You defended and guided your brothers and sisters. You raised your children with love and devotion. You won the respect and laughter of thousands of friends. As the oldest brother you left me hardly anything to do. You left a big, big whole in our family. You came to know God and testify of him. Now you are a super man where God is. I miss you Bro.

Geri, Carl, Monte, Gary,April and all of Brian's family,
My warmest, and deepest condolences to all of you. I didn't see Brian much, but whenever we crossed each others path he always spoke to me. I will never forget his smile when doing so, what a handsome man. I'm sure your memories of him will sustain you as you move forward. His influence will be his legacy. And Geri I thank you so much for what you did for my father and family when my father passed. And through time may you be healed from your pain. My prayers are with you.

To Geri and The Livingston Family
My heart aches at reading of the passing of your son, father, uncle, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and special friend Shelia.
If there ever was a finer man and a truer friend it was Brian. I was a housekeeper in the OR and I don't think we ever stop laughing. His smile was infecteous, and he was a great comfort when I lost a dear friend. I always misspelled his name so we would see each other and I would say: "what are we going to do today Brain? and he would say; "same as yesterday Pinky, we're going to take over the world."
May God's Blessings be with Geri, I still remember the day Brian received Christ at Tacoma Christian Center. I cheered and cried at the same time, I was always proud to call him my brother and friend. Thank you for sharing him.

To the Livingston family; I am so sorry for your loss. I understand that it must be extremely hard to cope with at the moment. Brian was an amazing guy. I knew him literally since the day I was born. He was my parents best friend. I grew up being babysat by his kids, all four of them in fact. Well maybe besides Bee. Haha, but he made a huge impact on our family. He touched the lives of every person he met. He was like an uncle to me, and he will always have a huge place in my heart. Stay positive and remember that he's happy now, no longer suffering. He's with God, and he is looking down on all of us.

April & family,
Four Candles for Brian:
The first candle represents our grief. The pain of losing you is intense. It reminds us of the depth of our love for you.
This second candle represents our courage. To confront our sorrow, To comfort each other, to Change our lives.
This third candle we light in your memory. For the times we laughed, The times we cried, The times we were angry with each other, The silly things you did, The caring and joy you gave us.
This fourth candle we light for our love. We light this candle that your light will always shine. As we enter this night to share and remember with our family and friends.
We cherish the special place in our hearts that will always be reserved for you. We thank you for the gift your living brought to each of us. We Love you, We Remember you always.

I hope that this will give you comfort during your time of sorrow. May the Lord bless and keep you in his loving arms.

The day God called you home

God looked around his Garden
and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth
and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you
and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful,
he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never
get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult,
he closed your tired eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine"
and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping
so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth
to suffer once again.
You've left precious memories,
your love will be a guide.
You live on through your children,
you're always by their side.
It broke there hearts to lose you,
but you did not go alone.
For part of them went with you
on the day God called you home.

To Monte, Geri and Charles and the Livingston family: I'm so saddened to hear about the loss of your brother and son! He was a beautiful man with a great sense of humor, award-winning smile, and wit like none other. I remember he had a beautiful singing voice too. Brian said something to me once that I will never ever forget and will hold dear to my heart, whenever I think of it, it makes me smile! I hope that the joy of the Lord keeps your souls at peace during this truly difficult time. Brian's the lucky one to already be at home. Love to all, Kim

I guess the one thing that comes to mind when thinking about Brian, is that wonderful smile. I met Brian in Junior High and he hadn't changed a bit. Everytime we ran into each other he always had a kind word and that beautiful smile. God doesn't make mistakes. Brian will be truly missed. My deepest sympathy to the entire family. May God keep you and bless you through this difficult time.

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.
