Carey Kirkland Obituary
July 23, 1957 - January 24, 2023
Bainbridge Island, Washington - Carey James Kirkland passed away on January 24, 2023 of end-stage liver disease. He is survived by his children Melissa and Daniel Kirkland and daughter-in-law Alexandra Robins. Carey enjoyed a long, successful career at Boeing where he made many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Shirley and his brother, Mark. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 6th, at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, Washington.

In my 20+ years of knowing Carey I understood him to be an exceptional caring person. He found ways to help with humor and compassion.
My fondest memories are fishing with Carey.
I miss him. He helped so many.

Carey was my brother-in-law, my career and life mentor and my friend. He was a great person. I was fortunate to have him in my life for as long as I did. I will miss him.
