I was Clarence's neighbor when I lived in Milton. I believe God weaves the paths of our life's with different people, at different times.I have wonderful memories of the man.
I remember when I rode with him into Tacoma to pick up materials for one of his many projects, he was a PROJECT guy, the real deal. We were in his Nissan p.u.,[his vehicles were always meticulously maintained] however, that being said, he had ArmorAlled the mats and the seats! I had to brace myself with my arms all the way into Tacoma! I don't know how he maintained control! But looking back, he very well could have done just the passenger side. Some years later, I bought his Mazda p.u. And before I sold it,I removed the fancy c.b. radio and the programmable musical horn. When my three sons began driving I thought about sharing, but call me selfish. To this day, they still sit in my garage, on a shelf, and when my eyes occasionally make contact with them they remind me of an old friend......and I smile. Rest in peace my Friend. My sincere condolences to you, Shelly and to his family.

Thankful that the boys have many treasured memories of their fun days with "Arizona Grandpa" both here in Wa, and on our trips to Yuma. I will always love and miss my Grandpa.
