As you noted in a recent e-mail to me that you will save a spot in your foursome for me if you get there first...I broke down with that comment. I miss you buddy and will be honored, to again, get back in your group. For now, good-by; I will carry you in my heart.

I hope that Chris' memorial services were as beautiful as the day... I was sorry to have missed them. I will always remember your house as "my friend's down the street;" it was a warm place full of love and family. Thank you for the gifts of friendship and community. May you seek what comforts you and ever love the times you shared. God bless you all.

I am so glad that my brother (John Iles) Chris & Curt were able to spend time together this past year. They were high school buddies who many years had seperated. Retirement is a good thing for having time for old, true friends.

My best memory, being a little kid sister, were of Chris & Curt SITTING under the Blueberry bushes on our farm and picking the berries into their mouths! Yum Yum. My sis & I thought Chris & Curt were the coolest .....

Hey, Chris, give our Mom a hug for us, ok??

God bless Chris' family as they remember all the good times...

If there was anyone with a smile on his face and more pleasing to be around that Chris, I did't know him. It was always a pleasure being around Chris and when I knew he was playing golf in my forsome I was pleased...Thanks Chris, I'll miss you....

I too feel honored to have known and had a friend like Cris. We met in Jr. High. He used to take me to the drug store where his mom ran the soda fountian. She would make me a big tall sundae with nuts whip cream and other goodies and put a cherry on top. Cris' back with her now, smiling down on us. Jacie,at our reunion I told him about the baby snake I had in my pocket when I visited you at your mom's house. Next time I visited you your mom was telling someone about the snake that was loose it your house. I confess,it was my snake. I feel a pain in my heart every morning when I check my email. Very often there was a joke in my box from Cris. I'll miss him always and will always be his friend.

Thanks for taking the time to be a friend and colleague. You explained your passion for golf, appreciation of family and we fixed the ballot box in the estimating office (this was an internal joke we always shared). Life was indeed good. Let them all know the joke of the day up there! Save me a steelhead, Harley

I knew Cris for a least 20 years as a coworker, a golfing buddy and a friend. Through it all I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. I'm glad to have known him, if I hadn't there would have been a blank spot in my life. We love you Cris. May God bless and keep you. Your buddy and friend, Roland

I will miss seeing Cris on NorthLake, and sharing the secret fishing hole and an beer. Cris had such a positive outlook on life, always a smile and a good joke. I'll never forget the fun. And, Brandon will always remember his snoring and his jokes on the river in Alaska. His memory lives on forever in our lives!
