DANIEL LITZENBERGER Obituary

Daniel Litzenberger Our beloved father, husband and Opa, Daniel Litzenberger of Puyallup, WA, died peacefully on September 20, 2016 while holding the hand of his wife of 53 years, Elsie. He was 84 years old. Daniel was born on June 21, 1932 in Crevenka, Yugoslavia, the second son of Jakob and Christine Litzenberger. He immigrated to the United States from Vienna, Austria in 1956. He is survived by his wife Elsie, his children Rowland, Mark, and Heidi, 11 grandchildren, his brother Friedhelm of Vienna, Austria, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Jakob. The family would like to thank his caretaker Helen Hernandez for the loving care and support she provided to Daniel. He especially loved singing gospel hymns with her. A private family burial service will take place Tuesday, September 27, at Fir Lane Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be held at the Bethel Learning Center, 21818 38th Ave. E in Spanaway, at 1pm on October 1st.

DEAR LIZENBERGER FAMILY, SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. JUST NOW FOUND OUT ABOUT DANNYS PASSING. IAM MARGARETE PETER NAGY, MY TANTE WAS LOUISA GOETTEL WIFE OF JOHANN. WE LIVED WITH THE LIZENBERGERS & SOFIE TANTE IN THE SCHLOSS KOBENZEL IN ABOUT 1947-8. I MET WITH FRIEDHELM IN VIENNA IN 2010.AM IN TOUCH WITH MARGIT GOETTEL HASMANNS CHILDREN FROM OHIO I THINK MARGIT TANTE WAS A SISTER TO DANIELS FATHER.TRUDIE HASSMANN WARD IS OR WAS IN TOUCH WITH YOUR DANIEL SOME TIME AGO.
