DAWN BRIGGS Obituary

Dawn Renee Briggs It is with very heavy hearts that we have to write this; one of the kindest, most delicate souls has gone to the other side of the rainbow. Dawn Renee Briggs' earthly walk began on July 26, 1968 and ended on May 31, 2016. Sue Carol Evans, her beloved mother, greeted Dawn into the entrance of paradise. Her brother Steven was also at the Heavenly welcome party. Dawn's four angels have remained earth side to tell her tale: daughters Tanya Renee Espino (Johanathan) and Samantha Paige Smith. As well as granddaughters Tatum Renee (12) and Johana Elizabeth Troy (1). Robert J. Evans, Dawn's father mourns her here from earth, as does her sister Brenda K. Bonner, brother Raymond 'Scott' Evans all of Tacoma, and sisters Shelly Brown and Sheila Kelly both in Texas. Dawn was born and lived her life in the Tacoma area as a fun loving, free spirit. While her time here was short, she left an impact on any person she came into contact with. Her philosophies on life were simple yet beautiful- always be kind and live a life full of love, laughter and adventure. We will be memorializing Dawn Renee's life and legacy at the Narrows VFW Hall 4741 N. Baltimore Street on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 3-7 pm. There will be a cash bar from 4 on and light refreshments. Please join us to share affectionate memories of this lovely soul. Your warm thoughts, good vibes and prayers are appreciated. Mom, we know you made heaven just a little bit brighter with your arrival. Love, Your Princesses Tanya Renee and Samantha Paige

dawn touched my roten soul almost from the first time i met her qwhich by the way hapened to be in 1979 we went to school together we became great friends lived loved and laughed together as well as our parents did from the lake house to vassault st. always she was a smilingly inquisitive courageous gentle soul of a person with so much presence yet with so little effort it took to put forth. dawn always reminded me of a baby bear cub for reasons that are far beyond my simple earthly understanding her fine delicate features would tell all you needed to know at the moment and all these years ive remembered and prayed for her....mostly folk like to say "youll get over it, itll be alright" except in essence we all know in our hearts it will never be alright she was taken from us. dawn briggs today you are remembered you are thought of recognized and once again we pray4you.....as i know you would pray for me with love respect and the dignity you deserve as you earned every bit of it.....say hello to heaven and say hello to barb because she will be there to greet you with them..........love never ending,,,,,richard(aka curfman) schaffer and family

Dawn, my heart broke to hear you had passed. I hope you have found peace and I truly hope you know now how many people you touched in a positive way and enjoyed you as a friend. When I think back to childhood memories, you are always a part of those memories because of the fun times we had together. Thank you for those times because even if we were kids, they meant a lot. May God bless your soul and please rest in peace my friend.
