I signed on to make an entry in the guest book of a colleague of mine and happened to see Dietmar's name. It seemed familiar. Upon reflection, I believe I purchased a vehicle from a third party that Dietmar had previously owned. A yellow 1964? Jeep Wagoneer. What was very special about that vehicle was the spotless condition it was in and the spotless shop manual that came with it, underlined precisely in blue and red. I always wondered how someone could use a shop manual so thoroughly and not leave one greasy finger print on it. In one entry Dietmar corrected the manual where a particular specification was off by a thousandth or so.
Interesting how we leave memories of ourselves behind.
My condolences to your family.
