FRED FONTANA Obituary

Fred John Fontana Jr. Fred Fontana, 83, died April 17th, 2015 at his home in University Place. As a person whose family came first, he was preceded in death by his wife Joni Fontana, and is survived by his children Steve, Stacia (Jim) Mincy, Chris (Cindy), John (Beth), and Becky (Terry) Griffin, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, April 27th, at 11am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and School. Amazing husband, family man, friend and neighbor! As a neighbor, our families went Christmas tree chopping every year making the holidays special. He's with his Joni now.So thankful to have known Fred even though he called me "Mare" (teasing) instead of Marilyn. God Bless, Marilyn Weeks family
