Dear Mike, Greg, Michelle, Ryan, Kathy, Joel, Jack, Sam, and Little Maddy,
I feel very blessed to have known Gayle! From the first time she welcomed me into your home when I came to tutor Michelle, Gayle was always so sweet and caring with a special knack for making others laugh! And laugh we did! Gayle was my "Movie Buddy" and would even call me from Sun Valley to tell me about a movie that we would just have to go see! I felt honored that you all let me share in Gayle's final journey. She was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, and friend and I will always treasure her friendship! My sincerest sympathies to all of you! I am keeping you in my prayers! I love you!
Love as always,
Nancy Johnson

Mike and Family, Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. Mike, when you stop by Northrop and share your stories of Gayle and your trips to Idaho it is apparent you two were very happy people who enjoy life and each other. I know family means everything to you, take comfort in knowing you are surrounded by people who care. Sounds like you were lucky to have such a wonderful wife, mom,Firend, person for many many years enjoying a wonderful life creating a family and everlasting memories, its the life in moments, not the moments in our lives that mean the most, seems she lived life to the fullest, hold on to the memories.. All my deepest thoughts of Sympathy,

Mike, Greg and of course, Michelle: My heart ached for you all when I heard the news, words can't express how much I enjoyed spending time w/ Gayle, even as a dumb teenager. She always made me feel special and laughed at my jokes, no matter how bad they were. Your home always had a wonderful feeling/spirit there and I know it's because Gayle made it that way. How blessed you were and are to have her as your wife, mother, and grandmother, she touched the lives of many throughout her life! May God bless and comfort you all.

Gayle Medley was always like a second mom to me. I will always remember all the fun times we had with her while growing up with Michelle. I have so many fond memories....Back when Michelle and I were in Jr. High and High School, Gayle always wanted all of us to hang at their house. She never judged anyone and her door was always open. The Medley basement was our hang out! Whenever we came home from dances, socials or friend's houses, Gayle would come down to the basement, with her bathrobe on and rollers in her, and wanted to get all the "scoops" about everything we had done that night. I don't know how many dances Gayle drove us to and pick up from in the big Silver Cadillac and she was always willing to drive us anywhere. Gayle and I loved "Swing Out Sister" so anytime I heard "Break Out" on the radio, I would immediately call Gayle and tell her turn on her radio. I have so many fond memories of this incredible woman. Gayle was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many people. She will be missed!

I suck at writing these things ? I’ve known Mike and Gail for almost twenty five years. Mostly business stuff but have got to know them pretty well. Gail was just here in the shop a few months ago full of life. I replaced a window motor in her old car she loved so much. She will be missed and with the faith we all have she’s in a better place and when our time comes we should be able too see her again. My condolences to Mike, Greg and Michelle.

Dear Mike and family,

We remembered it later in life but Gayle and I were roomates at Tacoma General Hospital in May of 1938 - our moms shared a room there when we were born. So we have been "friends" for nearly 72 years! We reunited at 12 years old when she was assigned my locker partner at Jason Lee Junior High where I was a transfer student from Sheridan Grade School and knew nary a soul. She was so friendly to me and made me feel welcome in my new surroundings. She never changed and was always a very friendly, caring person. God rest her soul. Marilyn (Jeter) Larson

Dear Mike, I am so sad to hear of Gayle's passing away. Gayle was a roomate with my mother during her stay at UP Care Center. I enjoyed getting to know her and becoming friends with you and her. Gayle's positive attitude and laughter, even during that difficult time, will always be remembered by us. My mother said often she was blessed to have Gayle as her roomate there. We enjoyed bringing treats to share with Gayle. Our prayers are with you Mike.

I will always remember that stylin Jaguar, all the Purple and Gold, the awesome lashes, beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and her love of home decor......she was a fun mom and grandma for you all to adore. My heart goes out to all of you that miss her.

I did not know Gail very well but I did know her daughter Michelle. I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear that your mother has passed away. I do remember your mother supporting our swim team when we had a car wash. She was so sweet because she said she would give us money so we would NOT wash her car. We all thought she was a really nice lady. The Lord will see you through this. Our thoughts are with you and your family. God Bless you. Shauna Hinzpeter (University Place)
