George Coury Obituary

George Elias Coury Age 71, passed away May 06, 2007. Although born in Renton, he lived much of his adult life in the Tacoma area, where he served in the Army National Guard for many years, after serving in the US Army during the Korean War. He loved his family, his country, reading, writing, and golf. George had an amazing sense of humor and could remember most anything he read or heard, so he was a great conversationalist. His brother said, "George never knew a stranger". He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly, who, along with his family, will miss his love, jokes and insightful presence immensely. There will be no public services at his request. His family asks that any gifts be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center, 800 N. Medcalf, Montesano, WA 98563.
