GEORGE UNGER Obituary

George W. Unger Loving husband, father, and friend George Wesley Unger died May 19, 2013. Born on February 24, 1923 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, George entered the Army in 1943, participating in the Normandy, Northern France, and Rhineland campaigns. An avid hunter, camper, and fisherman, George also enjoyed full-size and model railroads and scooting up and down logging roads on his trail bike. George is survived by Mary, his beloved wife of nearly 70 years; sons David of Bellevue, Nebraska and Randy (Jean) of Olalla, Washington; brother Carl (Kathy); and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by son James, sisters Cora and Edna, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, and grandchildren Christopher and Jonathan. At George's request, interment was private.
