George Zacher Obituary

George Lawrence Zacher Loving husband, father, brother, and son, George died March 7, 2008 in Seattle. He was born May 6, 1930 in Balta, North Dakota to Martin and Mary Zacher. George was preceded in death by brother Dan, sisters Betty, Margaret, Rose, Bertha and Caroline. He is survived by wife Muriel, children Tim, Debbie, Lori (Dan), Tami, Jeff (Melanie), Linda, Bill (Becky) and Lori, 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial service for family will be held at Bonney-Watson Parker Chapel in Burien. A public reception will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 1PM at the White Center Eagles, 10452 15th Ave SW.

We have to believe that George is joining his brothers and sisters in an even better place than here. He will certainly be missed by many, but oh so welcome by those other Zacher kids! My heartfelt love to the family during this very diffucult time.
