I knew Gerda from her many years at Tower Lanes. She had served me many breakfast's over the years. She was a special lady and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

We only knew who Gerda was through her serving us at The Towers Restuarant, but we always enjoyed having her wait on us. She had such a beautiful accent, always talked with us, gave excellent service, and her friendly smile started our day with sunshine. Although we did not know her last name, that wasn't important: we felt the joy she brought to her customers and, most certainly, that she must have brought to her family. Our sympathy.
