GLENN COOPER Obituary

Glenn W. Cooper Glenn William Cooper died in Tacoma on May 11, 2010, of cancer. He was born Dec. 26, 1952, in Schenectady, NY, and grew up there and in Bedford, Mass. After more than twenty years cooking in restaurants in the Seattle-Tacoma area, he spent the last three years as a line cook for Dining Services at Pacific Lutheran University. His friends were an important part of his life over the decades, and especially in his final weeks. Bob, George, and Bob & Blair are among those who meant a great deal to him. Glenn is survived by his mother, Louise F. Cooper, sisters Meg Cooper, Joyce Lush (George), and Carol Hulton (Peter), brother Keith (Lynn), nieces Bethany, Melissa, and Jessica, and nephews Andrew, Christopher, and Gregory. Those who knew Glenn are encouraged to view the full obituary and sign the guestbook at dryermortuary.com. The family is grateful to Group Health Hospice for its excellent care these past two months, and most especially to Angela and Beth. Contributions may be made to the Group Health Community Foundation (P.O. Box 34936, Seattle WA 98124) or to the American Cancer Society..
