Pat...do you remember the times when Fred and I came to your home across Pioneer from the High School. I believe we used to play a marble board game, or was it cards? Anyway we always had fun. I remember so well those years of business associations at the Variety Store. It was never the same after Glen left. Wish I could be with you for the services and to just visit and give you a hug...but the distance is too great. Love you..Joan

Glenn was a good man, a genial man, devoted to his family. Pat kept him as involved in activities as possible. Their long marriage speaks to a life partnership well chosen. Our condolences.

I have many memories of Glenn at Pohlman's. I loved going in that store as young girl. My folks were Joan and Fred Frankhauser. Dad has been gone since 1995 and Mom is in Texas. I know she sends her love and prayers. Hold onto all the many wonderful memories you have of Glenn. He was a special man. God Bless you.

Dear Pat and Patti,
Although it has been many years since I have seen either of you I just now saw the article. I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew that bright red hair right away! From Mitchells, downtown Puyallup, when Patti and I would go in the store.

My family's condolences go out to the Mitchell family. Glenn was such a hard worker and that was evident in his store, Pohlman's. I remember Patti and I riding our bikes down to Puyallup from Sunrise Terrace to visit him and explore every inch of that store! Later I would bring my son down to shop at an honest to goodness variety store! We have good memories of being neighbors and friends. Eris, Harold, Marc and Lisa Aasland.

As kids, my sister Susan and I, always wanted to go to down to Mr. Mitchell's store; we liked all the toys and rows and rows of everything he had for sale--a true variety store!!
Please accept our condolences,
