JACK LANGSTON Obituary

Jack C. Langston Cecil C. Langston 11/03/21 - 7/25/2012 Jack was born to Sidney and Nina Smith Langston in Georgetown, Louisiana. He served in the Army from 1940 to 1954. He married Carren Reardon in 1947. They had 60 years together, raising a family of seven children. They had 16 grand-children, 7 great grand-children, and 4 great great grandchildren. He was active in numerous organizations through out his life. He was a member of the Historic Fort Steilacoom Association and was instrumental in starting the Civil War Reenactments at Ft. Steilacoom. He procured two Civil War cannons, which he helped to restore for display at Fort Steila-coom. Predeceased by his loving wife Carren and grandson Skylar. He is survived by children (grandchildren), Jack (Jessica Klum, Amanda), Kathleen and Jerome Hoban (Carrina and Cody Olson, Alicia and Glenn Sands, Jamie Hogue), Robin, Tom and Diane (Chris, Scott), Carol and Gary Analco (Jacquelin, Casey, Colin), Lane and Kurt Sample (Mackenzie and Kimberly, Kelsey, Schnell ), James and Myhang (Connor, Sean), great grandchildren: Ashley, Crystal, Rodney, Caleb, Joya Claire, Thomas, and Elizabeth. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thurs-day August 2, 2012 at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Historical Fort Steilacoom Association PO Box 88447, Steilacoom, WA 98388.
