Mr Fosnick was my 6th grade teacher in the Highline school district. He was just the nicest man and best teacher. He was smart, creative, wise and witty. His smile could light up a room. Everyone just LOVED him!! I ran into him a couple times at the Puyallup Fair as an adult and was shocked to have him remember me. My condolences to his family. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Patty and Jim's family,
i'm so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. My family ( Roscoe) and his ( Fosnick's) were close and really good campers and fishing people. The two families spent a lot of time together! There was Twin Lakes, Conconelly, Moses Lake, the Elks club, bowling and card playing!
He was a special person as you well know, love and prayers to you,

Jim was such a kind man with a soft spirit who loved his family more than anything! He was so proud of his kids and grandkids. He will surely be missed!

To the Fosnick Family,
Gordy and I were so saddened to hear about Jim's passing. We found out from our good friends, the Spane's. Pat, I still hold such fond memories of working with you at Northwood and going over to your place with Gordy and Kellen so Gordy could do some bids on construction. I know your family will hold dear all the special memories that Jim shared with you. Please know we are thinking of you during this very tough time.
Love,
Gail and Gordy Asai

Jim has been one of my favorite friends since kindergarten. He was always so positive, fun to be around and loyal to his friends. We have a long history and I was looking forward to visiting more with him at our class lunch this Saturday.
So sad the last place I saw him was my husband's funeral.
Loved you Jim, rest in peace.

I knew Jim from his time at Thompson Elementary in the Bethel S.D., and we went through the W.W.U. Master's degree program together. He was an easy-going, NICE guy!
I share in your sorrow at his passing; I am certain that his kind, caring manner touched many over the years.
Jim taught at Thompson Elementary for a brief time; this is from the 1977-78 staff photo.
