I worked with Jim at Boeing. His intelligence, wit and musical prowess was a tonic to the dry engineering environment. His desire and generosity for sharing a love of music remains with me to this day, as I still have a Miles Davis cd he lent me.

It just seems a short time since I last spoke to him and he spoke about the cancer just seems real but I miss him and all the family as I only have Justin and Nik and Bill left so life is passing with great speed. I say Jimmy we miss your jokes and fun moments and especially your music which you loved so much.

Some of the music has died. Jim was one of our great Puyallup HS class of 1964 musicians, and not only a fine player but probably the most creative of us, arranging and composing while still in high school. We'd see each other at class reunions, like our 50th just this past summer, and kind of pick up where we left off. He was a special guy. I am sorry he is gone and will miss him along with all those who were fortunate to be his loved ones.

I will never forget you Jimmy and never forget all the help with growing up. Make more beautiful music in your heavenly home.
Love, Connie
