This is way too late but I just learned of Jan's passing. Such a loss for her family and friends (me). My sincere condolences to Andrea and Bob and the rest of the family I didn't know. Hugs

What a kind and loving friend Jan was to so many. Although we lost touch after college, we reconnected, again, after our children were grown. I treasurer the time I had with Jan, and will miss her deeply. She was, indeed, a very special friend.

I was always impressed by how Jan could give her full attention to a single person in the midst of the holiday rush at the farm. She had a gift of making you feel like the most important person in the room. Jan and Bob are like a second set of parents to our daughter. My husband and I have always felt blessed to know she was guided and loved by such a great couple. Jan and Bob truly helped shape her character, leadership qualities and work ethic. I will always be grateful for Jan and her open love and compassion.

Jan was always a smiling, positive influence in our group of friends. What a loss, the world needs more people like Jan! I can imagine she was a great Nana and will be dearly missed by all. My condolences to the family.

Sad news. She was a lifelong friend of my deceased wife, Diane (Hoffer) Petteys. RIP.
