JASON MILLER Obituary

Jason Eric Miller Jason, our son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend to many, passed away after a short but heart-wrenching battle with autoimmune disorders on July 23, 2015 at St. Clare Hospital, Lakewood. He would have been 41 on September 13. He graduated from Clover Park High School in 1992, went to Pierce College a short while, and had recently returned to college to finish his studies. At the end of his life we witnessed how many friends he had. They came from all over the Pacific Northwest to support his family and say their farewells. To each and every one of them, thank you, you are amazing. He had a unique perspective on life, was an intelligent, all-around nice guy, and was taken from us far too soon. Survived by parents Keith and Gail Miller, brother Bryan Miller, son Ehrich Balmer-Miller, uncle Craig Long, nephew Kaden Miller, niece Zoey Michalak, and stepson Jesse Balmer, all in Washington, aunts Joan Raymond, Arlene McCartney, Janet Whetzel, and Judith Lipp, and uncles Danny Miller, Robert MIller, and Tom Miller, and numerous cousins, all out of state, as well as extended family and friends too numerous to list. There are also two people out there who can see the world now through Jason's corneas. For anyone wishing to donate in his name, we request giving a unit of blood to St. Clare Hospital or Pierce County Blood Bank, or a donation to the Lupus Foundation of America. While there is no immediate service planned there will be a celebration in recognition of his life later, and all friends and extended family will be notified. The world will be emptier with his passing. Rest in peace, Jason. You were loved and will be missed terribly.

I recently received a "sign", at least that's what I believe. I miss you, son, there is an emptiness inside that cannot be filled. Be with God.

He was my son, my firstborn. I carried him, raised him, loved him and now mourn him. There is a hole in my heart that I'm afraid will never heal, Rest in peace, son.

Keith, Robert, Skye and I are so sorry for your family's loss of Jason. No ones life passes without ongoing ripples of memories and love. No one, apparently (from what I've been reading), more so than Jason. I love you and wish you peace.
