Susan Brown Obituary

BROWN

Susan (Sue) Diane Harrison Brown passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 after a courageous struggle with cancer. She was born September 16, 1954 to Norman and Jan Harrison in Youngstown, Ohio. She grew up in Northern Kentucky and graduated from Lloyd High School in 1972. After college, she gave thousands of people the breath of life as a respiratory therapist for 27 years at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and over 20 years at Mercy Anderson Hospital. Sue married Jim Brown in 1984. They were loving parents to three sons. Sue actively supported their participation in sports and boy scouting for over 25 years. She enjoyed family vacations and boating at Williamstown Lake. Sue was an avid equestrian and loved all animals. She looked forward to the birth of her first grandchild, Harrison Brown. She is survived by her husband, Jim Brown, sons Mike Brown, Matt (Jenny) Brown, and Ryan (Rachel) Brown, father Norman Harrison, sister Barbara (Ben) Howard, brother Norman (Lois) Harrison, parents-in-law Bob and Barbara Brown, sisters in law Sally Powell, Carolyn (Jeff) Jump, and Carolyn Cassidy, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Jan Harrison and sister Jo Ann Harrison. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Forestville Baptist Church, 1311 Nagel Road in Cincinnati, Ohio. A celebration of life and reception will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16 at the Church. Memorial gifts may be made to Milestones (12372 Riggs Road, Independence, KY 41051) or the Cincinnati Fire Museum (315 W. Court St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45202). Jim,

We're so sorry for all that you've been through. We don't have any words of comfort. Just wanted to let you know that we care about what you're going through & remember the time you & Sue came to the dance class that Elizabeth & I had at the Anderson Senior Center.

I did not know Sue but I worked some time with her husband at the Cincinnati Fire Department. Just wanted to express my sincere condolences to him and his family and to hopefully encourage all at this time with the promise resurrection hope that Jehovah has promised soon to come. He will do this by his son Jesus. Sickness will be no more. John 5:28-29 and Rev. 21:3-4
Sincerely
Bobby Williams
