JOHN McGEE

1939 - 2016

John Walter McGee Age 76 of Graham, Washington. Born in Tacoma, Washington 4/27/39 passed away 2/25/16 in Puyallup Washington. He graduated from Bethel High School in 1958. After graduation John went to Alaska, after his return he worked for Boeing, The Smelter and Concrete Tech. He was a member of Laborer Union Local 341. He married Michele "Shelly" Sarver in 1961, they were married for 54 years. He had been in the Washington National Guard, had been a member of the Puyallup Elks and the Graham Lions Club. He moved to Anchorage, Alaska where he owned and operated Precast Concrete Company for 30 years. He sold the company and retired in 2001. He was preceded in death by his sister Karen Michener, father Walter McGee, mother Anna Soby McGee. He leaves his wife Michele, daughter Dianna Hofmann "Mark", son Jon McGee "Diana", son Steven McGee "Elizabeth", and sister Euniece Schmidt "Roger", 9 grandchildren who called him Papa, 2 great grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Life on March 26, 2016 at Frontier Park in Graham from 2pm-5pm, 21800 Meridian Ave East, Graham, Washington 98338.
