June A. Caputo Age 91, died at Franke Tobey Jones Health Care Center, Tacoma Washington on September 17, 2015. June was a resident at Franke Tobey Jones since 2008. Born June 18, 1924, Tacoma Washington to Jacob and Ida Wetsch. She lived in Tacoma for most of her life and graduated from Stadium High School. June met James Caputo, married in 1945 and soon began her homemaking career raising five children. June's Catholic faith was an important part of her life. During her stay at Franke Tobey Jones, she found comfort and friendship in Sister Kathleen Reilly. She was an avid reader and talented in many forms of needlework. In her mid and later years, her cross-stitch pieces were valued and requested items by family and friends. June was preceded in death by husband James V., sons James F. (Ruth) of Portage MI., and Stanley J. Survivors include, Linda King (L.H.) of Castle Hayne NC, Vince (Cathy), and Jackie Reyes (Ray), and grandchildren, Anthony, Teryll, Mario, Ray Jr., Daniel, Jennifer, Matthew, Amy, Joseph and nine great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Franke Tobey Jones for their caring and nurturing of June during her stay. Services will be held at St. Rita Catholic Church, 1403 S. Ainsworth Ave., Tacoma, WA, 98405 on Friday September 25, at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service and a reception will follow at the church.
