KARLA BABB

Karla (Bowman) Babb KB Kool 6/8/1955 - 8/8/2010 Karla passed away August 8th after a long and difficult battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Lake City, WA. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Max, her sister Arta Bergstrom (Terry), brother Steve Bowman, three very special nephews, (Stevie Sloboda (Amity, Stanley, Soleil), Mason Bowman (Alicia, Owen), and Dustin Bowman), along with extended family, and countless friends. To her, life was one big party and those lucky enough to be invited, never wanted to leave. She overcame huge odds after being hit by a car at age 5. That determination stayed with her to the very end. KB was always up for a new adventure like running away with the Alaska carnival for two years in the late 60's or traveling through the Middle East and Beirut in the 70's. It was that kind of energy that made her personality magnetic. To know Karla was to love her. She spent many years in "T-Town" as a bartender and waitress. Her customers followed her wherever she worked because she told it like was and treated them like gold! She was an amazing lady and totally devoted to her husband, family, and her beloved dogs.
