It's hard to believe it has been two years since you left us. You will always be remembered as a dear friend and confidante. Keep your music alive in heaven!

While attending the Methodist Church on McKinley Hill, Ken Hewkin, Georgine Hamel, Ken Upton and I formed a quartet and sang in church and at various venues around Tacoma. Another fond memory - the day before Mother's Day we would pick wild violets near Spanaway and make corsages for the mothers that attended church the next day. Ken was such a dear friend!

When I first saw Kens face I thought I know this guy, then I read the obit and there it was, he was the Piano Man at the Terrace. I spent many an hour at the place listening to him and well other things. Bridget I'm sorry for your loss.

Bridget, Gene & I send our love and prayers to you and your family. The years fly by and we loose touch of our past connections but the good memories stay with us. You and Ken were a part of the connected past we shared in the Lakewood and REALTOR community. Be well. Linda & Gene

I got to know Ken through a mutual musician friend, Gary Aleshire, who had known him since their days as musical buddies at Lincoln High School. We all met monthly at The Pine Cone Restaurant with other musicians to chat over lunch about our many shared musical memories. Ken was not only a wonderful musician, but also a very kind, supportive and positive friend. He will be greatly missed by all of us. I am now sending special thoughts and prayers to Bridget and family.
Love, Mick Crosby

Ken is a dear friend since we were in our youth and attending the Trinity Methodist Church. Our friendship survived with mutual love of music and friends. I was so blessed to have visited with him and said my goodbye a few days before passed. Rest well my friend and God be with you!
