1955 - 2019

Mark Edward Jones Mark Edward Jones passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2019. Mark was born on Oct. 26, 1955 in Tacoma to Allen and Betty Jones. Mark was preceded in death by our parents and our brother, Doug. Mark worked as a union wireman out of the IBEW Local 76 until he retired. Mark took a great deal of pride in his many electrical installations and electrical knowledge. At one point in his career he traveled to work in Atlantic City during the big casino boom. He has shared many great stories of his time there. Mark followed and took great pride with a family tradition. This tradition was started by our grandfather Allen Jones and continued by our father of maintaining and keeping up his house in excellent condition. Mark was constantly remodeling and improving his house and property. Mark is survived by two brothers. Michael and wife Marilyn Jones of Anacortes and Bruce and wife Kim Jones of Vietnam. You always knew Mark was present by his great laugh and zest for life. Mark was a very generous man to his many friends and charities. Mark will be missed by his family, friends and little dog Chi Chi. Be at peace our brother. A celebration of Mark's life will be held at the Sprinker Recreation Center located at 14824 C Street in Spanaway. The celebration will be held on 3/9/2019 between 2:00 and 4:00 PM.
