Nick Brown

NICK BROWN A lifelong resident of Steilacoom passed away at age 67 on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Nick's happiest times were spent with friends and family at his beach cabin on Anderson Island. A special thank you to "THE GIRLS" who made a tradition every year of spending a weekend at the island, pampering him. Sports were his passion and as frugal as he was, he could be counted on to put his dollar on each and every board. This activity involved his friends. Nick was truly blessed with great friends, namely: Bill Lester, Sandy Pierson, Gary Fossum, Otto Kark, John Thompson, Sharon Kidd, John Grettenberg, Roger Woodcock, Dave Dailey, Ellis Sweat, Robin Cox, Jim Milgard, Ned Kneip, Neil Kneip, Dick Picton, Fred Williams, Scott Soine and to these friends my sincere gratitude for the companionship and love you gave to my Nick Brown. He is survived by his wife Darlene, daughters Robin Keeney and Nicki Brown, step-daughter Amaleta Boyle, son-in-law Tom Boyle, grandchildren Nick Keeney, Joseph Boyle and Lucas Winstead, mother-in-law Emma Howe, brother Red Brown (Doris). Nick also leaves his beloved little schnauzer Nicki whom he adored. A celebration of Nick's life will be held on July 31st. Details will be posted in a future notice. I miss you, my love - Dar.
