Tacoma, Washington - Opal A. Ellwein, 101, of Tacoma, passed away May 3, 2024. Born in Townsend, MT, she lived in Tacoma, WA with husband, Erhart Ellwein, and their two sons, James and Ronald. She retired from the Tacoma School District and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She is survived by son James (Christine), grandsons Bryan and Daniel (Melissa), great-grandchildren Cameron, Andrea, and Joseph. Funeral arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Home.
