Philip Hogman Obituary

Philip Hogman
April 15, 1952 - August 3, 2023
University Place, Washington - Phil passed away suddenly and will be missed by many! He is survived by wife Debi Perry, daughter Katrina Hogman, granddaughters Emma & Lily, sister Sherill Kucklick (Dan), and a myriad of nieces, nephews & cousins. His father Manford, mother Margery and brother Scott predeceased him.
A graduate of PHS, he also attended Clover Park Voc. (audio-visual studies) and Everett Community College (photography). He worked at Mt. Rainier for two summers. The mountain became his "spiritual place".
He worked for his dad and found construction wasn't his calling. After a time at the Milwaukee Railroad, he worked at Tacoma Rail for most of his 30 yr. career.
Phil's passions were baseball, hunting & fishing, music, and reading. He loved making people laugh.
One of the most important things in his life was his love for daughter "Katie". He worked at helping her become the strong and passionate woman she is.
Private service TBD. In lieu of flowers "in memory gifts" may be made to Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Missoula MT or your charity of choice. Expanded obit at edwardsmemorial.com
