PHYLLIS DARLING Obituary

Phyllis N. (Abels) Darling Was born July 29, 1930 to M. Hobson and Eunice Abels in Vancouver, WA and traveled to Heaven on Jan 19, 2011 in Gig Harbor, WA. She loved her family, sewing, boating, dancing and babies. She graduated from Stadium High School in 1950, and married her life's love, Leslie A. Darling, that same year. She worked as a seamstress while staying home to raise their three children. She is survived by her husband Les, her children, Mike Darling (Barb) of Casper, WY, Jeanne Gulbraa (Steve) of Gig Harbor, WA, and Juanita Bainbridge (Rich) of Onalaska, WA. Also surviving are her sister Margery Lesley (Larry) of Gig Harbor, WA and brother, Ron Abels (Margie) of Tacoma, WA; her grandchildren Jenny White, Jake Morrison, Melissa Gulbraa, Katy Hayden, LeAnna Sandy, and Bryan Owens, 5 great grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Hayden, Olivia and Reagan; and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Dear Les, Mike, Jeanne, Juanita and your families,
I was so very saddened to hear that Phyllis had passed away. I have many, many wonderful memories of all the good times we had as children - your family and ours. Please accept my sincere condolences - Phyllis truly was a very special person.
