He was proud of his son, daughter and his granddaughters.

He loved John Wayne Movies, PlayStation games, puzzles, and country music (Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers to name a few). The last songs played for him before his passing were Take Me Home, County Roads (John Denver) and Amazing Grace.

I am so sorry for the passing of your dear dad. I remember when we were clearing out the mess in our yard next door and I saw a garter snake. Your dad and my husband enjoyed a good laugh. After that whenever I screamed out in the yard, he´d tease, "You must have seen another snake."
And then came 4th of July. Every year your dear dad Richard and my Jim had good natured bottle rocket "wars" from their respective decks, aiming them at each other. They would each even construct even better launchers every year. Of course, a water hose was always nearby.
We had a lot of fun all those years being next door neighbors.
May God comfort you and your entire family during this difficult time.
My love to you all,
Connie
