RICHARD KINZNER Obituary

Richard Elliott Kinzner I was born in Tacoma, WA to Marie E. Scheibal Kinzner. I died XXXXX 99, 2017 from complications after exposure to Agent Orange. I served in the U.S. Army three years, and spent time overseas, at which time I was exposed to Agent Orange. If we don't die in the wars, we die from the wars. I was that which others did not want to be; I went where others feared to go and did what others failed to do. I have seen the face of terror. I have lived times others say are best forgotten. I did not forget my fellow soldiers, who paid the ultimate price for your freedom. I am proud that I was a soldier in the Armed Forces. Domestic violence, child abuse, and wars must end. Domestic violence and child abuse kills; I survived, but my mother didn't. Please make the call the Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at 1-800-562-6025. I want to thank the doctors, nurses, and all the personnel at the Lakewood VA Hospital and the Seattle VA Hospital for the excellent care they gave me these past years, and to all the people who were there for my mother and for me, you know who you are. We couldn't have survived the abuse without your love and support. It's finally over now. Mom and I can rest in peace. A very special thank you goes to Ann Sothern and daughter Tisha Sterling. Thank you for your kindness. Your mother's movies meant so much to my mother and me. When I see our mothers, I'll know I am in Heaven. Thank you, one and all, Richard Elliott Kinzner

Dick,
Rest in peace. You were an amazing person and I'm glad to have had the honor of knowing you. My brother Bob, called you one of his closest and dearest friends. When you get to heaven give him a huge hug from me and then you two behave yourselves up there. :)
