Maurice F. Flahive

1941 - 2021

Maurice F. Flahive, age 80, passed away on June 23, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on May 23, 1941 to the late Peter and Mary (Hanifin) Flahive. Moe worked for many years as a foreman for James River/ Rexam Graphics in South Hadley. He was a lifelong fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, and Boston Bruins. He loved to play cards with friends and his family on holidays. He leaves his son Mark and his wife Kelly of Springfield, and his two granddaughters Brianna and Alyson. He also leaves two brothers Patrick Flahive of Springfield and his brother John Flahive and his wife Pauline of Holyoke, and one sister, Margaret Breslin of East Longmeadow. Moe was predeceased by his wife Reine (Beliveau) who passed away in 2005 and four brothers, Thomas, James, Terrance and Peter. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at Sampson Chapel of the Acres, 21 Tinkham Road in Springfield. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
