I'm saddened to hear of Rob's passing. I knew Rob from 5th grade to graduation in 1972. We often hung out together in band when he played drums. He was a great friend and I regret that we didn't keep in contact over the years. My thoughts and prayers with his wife and family.

Two years now and ironically just yesterday I went to tackle a folder of paperwork and the information on the Family Tree that you had sent me was in there. I'm guessing it was a sign you are thinking of your family and just needed a prayer. So I am praying for you today - Thank you so much for your time for being your family historian. Know that your family info that I added to my tree is still safe and sound as I promised to you.

Sue, I am so sorry for your loss. I did not get a chance to meet Rob but through our conversations about family I got a sense of who he was. A man who loved you dearly. A proud father who cherished his children. A doting grandfather. A man who loved your independence and made you get your expense vouchers done. Hugs my friend.

Rob is one of the most thoughtful people that I know. He always sent cards for Christmas and birthdays. He went out of his way to let his Aunt Jean (my mama, who passed 12-98), know how much he loved her. He would check in with me every now and again just to make sure I was ok-because that was just Rob.
He will be missed tremendously. My prayers and heart are with the family.

Bob and I were sad to hear of Rob's passing. We have many good memories of those times we were able to visit when we were up your way. Rob was always good about sending us hand written letter and cards updating us on your family through the years. Our hearts go out to you. I went all through school with Rob..grade school, Jr. high,and we graduated together from Rogers. Rob was always a great guy to everyone and well liked by all. Sue, I remember you two in high school you were always together and crazy about each other...I am so sorry to hear this sad news...may the wonderful memories comfort you and the thoughts that you two got to spend your life together as lovers , parents and best friends.... you two were so blessed to have each other...my deepest sympathy. I remember Rob always being the proactive father and nice guy. I haven't seen him in a few years but received lots of feedback from friends and family in the circle. Saddened to hear of his passing and my sincerest condolences to everyone affected. I looked up to him when I was young as such a great dad, and aspire to be like him. Rob and Sue were our neighbors in Bonney Lake for quite a few years. Our kids played together and we had many adventures with kids and as neighbors. Ken and I have fond memories of our time spent next door. Chrissy and Charissa playing as well as Brant, Joe and Chad. I remember 2 year old Chad with his blonde hair sticking up out of a hole in the yard. We all looked and looked for him. Rob, you were a great dad and always made us feel welcome in the neighborhood. Loved that you helped us watch out for our kids too.

Rob, you were a second dad to me when I was young. Chrissy and I were adventurous souls. We needed you. Part of me was afraid of you, just enough to keep me from doing anything that would cause permanent damage to myself or others. However, I also knew you loved me and that when we did go too far, you would be there to bail us out. You were our safety net. Thank you for watching out for us and for allowing us to adventure. You are loved and missed.
