Robert Plischke Obituary

Robert D. Plischke Robert D. Plischke, 79, passed away May 1, 2005 in Puyallup. He was born Feb. 20, 1926 in Amherst, NE to Joseph and Augusta Plischke. Bob was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He retired from the Air Force after 22 yrs. as a SMSGT. Following the military, he worked for the US Postal Service until he retired in 1980. Dad loved playing games with his family, the Mariners, movies, crossword puzzles, jelly beans and the hit TV show, "Everybody Loves Raymond". He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Lorraine of 56 years, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by 2 sons, Bob Jr. and Randy (Carol); 5 daughters; Priscilla (Martin) Matlack, Pam Gibson, Patti Tidball, Penny (Howard) Lytle and Paula (Bobby) Susic; and 22 grandchildren and 1 Grt. Granddaughter. Memorial Services will be held Monday, May 9th, 10:00AM at First Christian Church in Sumner. Committal Services to follow at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Assoc. and the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Powers Sumner Funeral Home. He was a survivor and fought the good fight.
