ROLAND GOSLAND Obituary

Roland A. Gosland Ron A. Gosland, 89, passed away peacefully December 28, 2012 in Seattle. Born in North Dakota, he had been an Auburn area resident the last 54 years and worked as a shoe salesman. He was a U.S. Army veteran in WWII and a POW in Germany and a member of the VFW. Ron was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge, Thornton F. McElroy #302 F&AM, and Order of Amaranth, Pyramid Court #88, and a member of Order of Eastern Star Pyramid Chapter #257, and Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Auburn. Survivors include daughter, Joan McIntyre of Auburn, sons Dennis Gosland of Lakewood and Patrick Cimino of CA, 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 9:00 A.M. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Yahn & Son Funeral Home, Auburn, 253-833-8877. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Auburn.
