Sherry Manning Obituary

Sherry Manning Sharon Marie Manning was born on August 2, 1945 in Tacoma, WA, and passed away on August 5, 2017. She is survived by her loving companion, Russell "Rusty" Bass, two sons, Scott Manning (Paula) Manning and Jeffrey (Meghan) Manning, and three grandchildren, Alison, Lexsi, and Hunter Manning. Sherry retired from her computer-programming career at Tacoma Public Schools in 2012. She enjoyed living and traveling with Rusty for the past 14 years. She also enjoyed spending time with her son Scott and his family. Sherry was loved by all that knew her, and was incredibly kind. She will be truly missed. Sherry you were my favorite player on your soccer team that i had the honor of coaching! I have dear memories of your kindness and compassion for people. I am saddened that i wont meet up with you again on earth but hopefully at the next soccer game we have together up there! Rest in peace "Schuckhart" I will miss you much. Coach Alan Figliola

I am so sorry to hear of Sherry's passing. The picture is exactly as I remember her. She was my third cousin and we didn't see a lot of each other. She was always a sweet and loving person.
